CCA PROGRAMME FOR SKILLS, LEADERSHIP & CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT

The Greenridge Choir aims to nurture choral talent and passion in the arts, and has worked extensively to develop its members’ abilities through rigorous vocal training techniques and providing opportunities for performance to develop not only musical skills, but confidence and perseverance through the experience. To this end, the Choir has dedicated its efforts this year to organising activities such as a cluster vocal and stage presence master class, as well as the Cluster West Six Idol competition, to discover and nurture talent within the cluster schools. On top of that, the choir members are given opportunities to attend workshops to enhance their vocal techniques to further develop their singing skills as well as build self-confidence through practice sessions conducted by professionals. With such a variety of performance platforms, activities and opportunities for service to the community, the Choir focuses on the holistic development of its members, and will continue to strive to maintain its status as a closely-knit community of individuals passionate about singing and performing.

The Greenridge Choir is more than just a CCA with many hours of practice. Choir members are able to develop their leadership qualities and build on their self-confidence. It is also a place where camaraderie is fostered and friendships are forged. After hectic schoolwork, our motley crews of different personalities come to sing together, to make music and not be silent.
